How is our packaging produced?
Our packaging is always based on a rigid 1,5 – 3 mm cardboard which is additionally covered with a nice material (usually between 100-200 g/m²). We offer various cover materials from widely used printed sheets to exceptional high-quality sheets. Textures can be smooth, soft-touch, natural, embossed, metallic, and more.
Can Guddenberg produce other products?
Yes, we can also make solid and nice folders, binders, notebooks, or similar products. If you are looking for cardboard based, rigid products, we can certainly help you.
What are the design possibilities?
We offer various cover materials, refinements (mostly print, embossing, silk screening), many accessory elements and tailor-made inlays. You can also freely select the size and type of the box within our production possibilities. We will send you different samples so you can make the right choice.
What is the minimum and maximum format?
The smallest box we can make has to be 60 x 60 x 17 millimetres (internal dimensions). The maximum format for an automatic production is 410 mm length, 440 mm width, and 117 mm height. However, there is a possibility to produce bigger sizes manually.
Are there any additional costs for tools or plates?
Our prices always include all costs except delivery costs.
Can our boxes be recycled?
Yes, we offer solutions to make your packaging fully recyclable. Just let us know that you are looking for a sustainable product.
How can I make a request at Guddenberg?

How does the ordering process work?
If you accept our offer, we will send you our order confirmation and all necessary sketches for the data. If you have no experience with graphic programs, our graphic designers will support you. Afterwards we will visualise the data through a 3D-rendering.
How can I cancel an order?
Since all our products are made in an individual production, it is not possible to cancel an order after the production has started. Please ask your contact person to find out whether a cancellation or adjustments can still be made.
How long does the delivery take?
Depending on the order size and the order specifications it can take between four to seven weeks. Of course, the delivery time includes the time for the production. We always specify the approximate delivery time in our offer. If you need the shipment until a certain date, it is possible to agree on a fixed date.
Where do we deliver to?
Basically, it is possible to ship our products worldwide. Nevertheless, we recommend you to check whether there is a good ratio between the delivery costs and the product value. Of course, we will calculate the approximate delivery costs for you.
How will the goods be shipped?
We safely pack and send your order on pallets, either on Euro-pallets (120 x 80 cm) or smaller one-way pallets (mostly 100 x 70 cm).
How much are the shipping costs?
The costs vary depending on the shipping volume and weight. We cooperate with reliable and cost-efficient shipping companies and calculate fair shipping costs based on our own costs. Just ask your contact person to calculate the approximate delivery costs for you.
Are there additional fees for a delivery outside the EU?
Yes, import duties or other fees depend on the country and have to be paid upon delivery. We cooperate with custom agencies to make the delivery as easy as possible for you. In general, import duties for our products are rather low.
What are the terms of payment?
We only deliver to new customers against payment in advance (between 30-50 %), the remaining amount will be due after the delivery. If the standardised processes of your company do not allow a payment in advance, we can surely find a solution. Just talk to your contact person.
When and how do I receive the invoice?
We always send the invoice by email after the delivery. If required, we can also send it by post.
The shipment does not match the order, what can I do?
Quality and your satisfaction are our top priority. If our goods have suffered damage during transport or have other undesirable features, please contact your personal contact immediately. Your complaint will be reviewed as soon as possible and in the case of a legitimate complaint, picked up, repaired, and replaced by correct goods.
How can I order sample material?
We will gladly send you a wide range of samples. Just use our contact form and describe your products. If you have already received an offer, just ask your contact person.
I have not received the samples, what can I do?
Unfortunately, sometimes parcels get lost or damaged, depending on the delivery country and address the delivery time should not take more than a few days. I you have not received the samples after a week, please inform us and we will immediately send you another parcel.
